TCE EIACP PC -RP is very happy to release an e-poster on account of celebration of World Lion Day2024

The World Nature Conservation Day 2024 was celebrated on 28th July 2024. In connection to this TCE EIACP PC–RP conducted a tree sapling distribution Program at Thirupparankundram Temple, Madurai on 30th July 2024. More than 500 tree saplings were distributed to the Public. The aim of the program is to impact the public regarding the important of tree plantation. The event sensitized more than 1500 people.

The Punjab State Council for Science and Technology organized a stakeholder consultative meet on Best Practices / Technologies for Management and Disposal of Plastic Waste on July 29, 2024. Dr.R. Vasudevan, Padma shri Awardee, TCE EIACP PC-RP Coordinator, and professor of chemistry, delivered a lecture on the title “Best Practices/Technologies for Management and Disposal of Plastic Waste” through virtual mode. The Lecture discussed about the mishandling of plastic waste and the problem created by the waste to the environment. He also insisted on the proper collection and segregation of waste plastics. The seminar discussed about the proper Garbage Disposal and some best practices in managing the plastic waste. More than 100 participants were sensitized through this webinar.
